By downloading, installing, or using MomentoTag ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

MomentoTag is a mobile application that allows users to:

  • Create digital memory capsules containing photos, videos, and text
  • Link NFC tags to memory capsules
  • Generate AI-powered stories and summaries from memories
  • Store and organize personal memories on their device

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • All content you add to your memory capsules
  • Ensuring you have the right to use any photos or media you add
  • Maintaining the security of your device
  • Backing up your data if desired

4. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create or add to MomentoTag. We do not claim any rights to your photos, videos, text, or AI-generated content.

5. NFC Tags

When using NFC functionality:

  • You are responsible for any NFC tags you program
  • Only link tags to content you have the right to share
  • Be mindful of where you place NFC tags in public spaces

6. AI Features

AI-generated content (stories, summaries, timelines):

  • Is processed entirely on your device using Apple Intelligence
  • May not always be accurate or reflect your intended meaning
  • Should be reviewed before sharing

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use MomentoTag to:

  • Store or share illegal content
  • Violate others' privacy or intellectual property rights
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

MomentoTag is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data.

10. Data Loss

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

  • We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, loss, or damage
  • We recommend regular backups through iCloud or other means
  • Deleting the App will delete all local data

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We reserve the right to terminate access to the App for violations of these terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
