What We Don't Collect

  • Photos and Videos: Your media never leaves your device
  • Personal Information: We don't require accounts or personal details
  • Location Data: We don't track where you are
  • Usage Analytics: We don't monitor how you use the app
  • Device Identifiers: We don't collect IDFA or similar identifiers

On-Device Processing

All AI features in MomentoTag use Apple Intelligence, which processes your data entirely on your device. This means:

  • AI-generated stories and summaries are created locally
  • Photo analysis happens on your iPhone
  • No data is sent to external servers for processing

NFC Tags

When you link an NFC tag to a capsule:

  • The tag stores only a unique identifier
  • No personal data is written to the tag
  • The actual memories remain on your device

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you enable iCloud sync:

  • Data is synced through your personal iCloud account
  • Apple's privacy policies apply to iCloud storage
  • We never have access to your iCloud data

Third-Party Services

MomentoTag does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

Children's Privacy

MomentoTag does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences and stores all data locally on the user's device.
